Free Association Clinic for Psychotherapy has an office in the Cow Hollow district of San Francisco and provides referrals to existential-psychoanalytic and other therapists in various places throughout California. Therapists associated with the Free Association Clinic have all participated in the New School for Existential Psychoanalysis either as faculty or as a student. Dr. Norwood serves as Clinical Director. - R.D. Laing Symposium
The R.D. Laing in the 21st Century Symposium convenes annually at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California. Scholars and clinicians from around the world gather to discuss topics related to psychotherapy, existentialism, psychoanalysis, and other areas of philosophy. Dr. Norwood participates as a presenter and assists in organizing this event each year. - Gnosis Retreat Center
Gnosis Retreat Center is a project that is seeking funding to provide a sanctuary to people experiencing extreme states in the Bay Area of California.
